The bearded Santa is the origin of Åsa's Tomtebod. The form was developed by Åsa Götander in the early 1990s and is the basis for the expression that still characterizes our work.
The Santa Claus is handmade from natural materials. The hat is hand-felted from wool, the beard from sheepskin and the body and nose from wood. Each piece differs slightly in expression and shade, as a natural consequence of the materials and craftsmanship.
